Went out for 3.2 miles yesterday, after three days off, my legs were a little sore yesterday but I actually did pretty well. Today I'm shooting for 4, I want to start into a 3-4-3-5 routine to help for the 10k I'm doing in June. And, of course, I need to start pushing it a little more to get ready for the marathon!
I have to say I've become addicted to running outside, not only does it give you something more interesting to look at and focus on, but I think the fresh air and sun does something physiologically (if I"m using the word right) that actually puts me in a really good mood. If it's drizzling or cold I'll even go out (though not in hard core rain, that's too hard), just to avoid the treadmill cause I've actually grown to despise the treadmill. I'm such a snob!
